DAVID DAHLQUIST (President & CEO)
David grew up in Reed City, MI and is the founder of MIlife. Known for complaining to the crew until he gets his way, he finally drove himself nuts enough with the idea of starting this company that he jumped in head first, even without presenting the idea to his wife first. The youngest of the crew, he often acts like the annoying little brother and is treated as such.
David is a graduate of Ferris State University and has worked in the construction management industry since. He has a passion for the outdoors; from golfing to kayaking, or hunting to snowmobiling, he is outside whenever possible. David started the dream of MIlife, but Adam and Ron are essential pieces. Whatever they don’t do, David does, which typically means video editing, website management, product ordering, destination research.
ADAM O’BRIEN (V.P. of Business Development and Marketing)
Also known as “Big Bear”, Adam grew up in Paris, MI and has knack to make you laugh. Always in a cheerful mood, there is rarely a quiet moment when he is around. He is known for talking way to loudly, destroying company issued vehicles, and flipping over the handlebars on a mini bike that he had already exceeded the weight limit on.
Adam is a graduate of Central Michigan University, and has been in sales for a large agricultural and construction equipment manufacturer since. Growing up on a farm and having a career in the industry, he naturally loves it along with hunting and golfing. Adam’s natural demeanor makes him our go-to guy for building relationships and providing entertainment.
RON LODHOLTZ (V.P. of Product Research and Field Operations)
Ron grew up in Chase, MI and like Adam, has a knack to make people laugh – but not because he is funny. Known for an unhealthy pounding heart rate when a fawn or squirrel walk into bow range, he actually may be the best shot on crew, which makes up for his inability to golf. Ron’s largest accomplishment in life thus far may be that he successfully drove himself over with a tractor when nobody else was around.
Ron is a graduate of Ferris State University and while he spent enough time there to be a doctor, the end result was a degree in Business Administration. Since then, he has worked at a large recreational and sporting goods retail company and manages one of their stores. He loves to hunt and golf (regardless of above), as well as spend time in the woods whenever possible. His years and experience selling sporting good merchandise make him valuable to the crew for product knowledge, review, and operation.
